We’re testing an input indicator on the GMRS Repeater System which will indicate via tones to the users what receiver input they are using when they unkey.

On the primary input of 467.575 you will hear a 660 Hz followed by at 440 Hz tone. High to low.

On the secondary input of 467.725 you will hear a 440 Hz followed by a 660 Hz tone. Low to high.

Our hope is this will enable users to know if they are experiencing interference from the port and able to mitigate by switching to the alternate input tone.
